At Normann Copenhagen Sales, we take the same thoughtful approach to our returns policy as we do to our Scandinavian furniture designs—clear, functional, and customer-focused. If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll make the return process as seamless as possible.
Our Return Promise
We stand behind the quality of our contemporary furniture collections. You may return most items within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they are in original, unused condition with all packaging materials intact.
Important: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on poufs and bar stools with fabric upholstery unless they arrive damaged or defective. All other products in our collection (dining chairs, outdoor seating, and non-upholstered stools) are eligible for returns.
Simple Return Process
- Initiate Your Return: Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of delivery with your return request (see template below).
- Receive Authorization: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and an RMA number.
- Package Securely: Repack the item in its original packaging with all protective materials.
- Ship Back: Send the package to our warehouse using a trackable shipping method (return shipping is at customer’s expense).
- Inspection & Processing: We’ll inspect the returned item within 3-5 business days of receipt.
Exchange Process
To exchange an item:
- Follow the same steps as the return process, indicating you’d like an exchange in your email.
- Specify the replacement item from our collection (bar stools, dining chairs, outdoor seating, poufs, or stools).
- We’ll process the exchange once we receive your original item, shipping the new product via your preferred method.
Note: Price differences will be charged or refunded as applicable.
Refund Information
Once your return is approved:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
- Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Amount: You’ll receive the full item price minus original shipping costs (unless return is due to our error).

Special Considerations
- Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged, contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging.
- International Returns: Customers outside the U.S. may be responsible for customs duties on returned items.
- Final Sale Items: Occasionally marked products are not eligible for return—this will be clearly stated on the product page.
